Women & Wisdom: The Story Behind the Story
Explore the timeless narratives of the Torah as you’ve never seen them before. This class goes beneath the surface of familiar Biblical episodes such as the forbidden fruit, Noah and the Flood, the Binding of Isaac, Stolen Blessings, Jacob and his wives, and Joseph and his brothers. What are these stories really trying to teach us? What questions do they raise about human nature, relationships, faith, and G d? Through close reading and thoughtful discussion, we’ll explore the moral, psychological, and spiritual layers within these powerful narratives - seeking not just to understand what happened, but why it matters.
