A Special Leil Simchat Torah Dedication & Celebration

Following Mincha/Maariv

On the eve of Simchat Torah, we will come together once again, to mourn and to dance. Beth Tfiloh Congregation is taking part in a global project, The Simchat Torah Project. We are dedicating four new Torah covers, each dedicated to a holy soldier killed defending Am Yisrael and the land of Israel. Each of the soldiers represented on the covers is related to a BT community member. Before hakafot we will recite special prayers and songs and read a Kel Maleh, memorial prayer. We will then move from mourning to dancing, beginning with slow hakafot and then leading to the traditional celebratory dancing. It will be an evening filled with emotions, and we hope you will join with us to pay respect, honor, remember and yes, to then dance and celebrate together.

Celebrate with dancing, singing, cocktails and hors d'oeurves for adults, as well as candy bags and giveaways for children.
