Academics Overview

Personalized Attention for Your Child’s Success

Our students benefit from our small class size, and are taught by experienced, knowledgeable, nurturing individuals who help their students develop the skills needed to succeed not only in our academic program, but also in all that lies beyond their Beth Tfiloh years. Small class sizes allow our teachers to provide our students with personalized attention, on and to nurture their talents and strengths. Our teachers are focused on preparing their students for future success. Furthermore, our unparalleled individualized college guidance program ensures that 100% of BT seniors who apply to a four-year university get accepted to the one that is right for them.

Preschool

Beth Tfiloh PreSchool celebrates and cultivates joy, discovery, and respect in our youngest students. Inspired by the world-renowned Reggio Emilia early childhood educational philosophy, our curriculum prepares children for Kindergarten by encouraging them to exercise their curiosity and stretch their imaginations as they explore the world around them.

Lower School

Our Lower School children flourish in a joyful environment charged with the excitement of discovery and the love of learning. Small class sizes combined with the research-based Responsive Classroom curriculum, creates classroom communities where teachers can meet the academic needs of each individual student. Their highly individualized learning experience fosters the intellectual skills and confidence students need to take thoughtful risks, ensuring their success in Middle School.

Middle School

Our Middle School embraces the special energy unique to emerging adolescents. The curriculum supports students’ social and emotional growth while discovering new skills and talents and building a strong academic foundation for High School.

High School

Beth Tfiloh High School’s renowned college preparatory program offers students opportunities for exploration, connection, and leadership. In the classroom, on the playing field, on stage, and in the community, our young men and women prepare for the challenges of contemporary society. Graduates are fully equipped to continue studies at the finest colleges, universities, yeshivot and gap year programs—and to take their places as Jewish leaders committed to making the world a better place.
