Lower School Collaborates to Create 2019-20 School-Year Rules

The rules were developed through collaborative discussions in each class about the students hopes and dreams for this school year, and the rules needed to make those hopes and dreams come true. Each class submitted their rules to Dr. Holzman, Dr. Weissman and Mrs. Laifer, who synthesized those submissions and distilled the three big ideas that emerged:

1. We care about everyone in our community and treat them with kindness and respect.

2. We are grateful for our world and our things so we take care of them.

3. We work hard and stay safe.
