Monday, March 10, 9:30 am Join us for a special morning of experiential learning around Purim, including classes, music, and more! This program is open to the entire community.
Since Purim falls on a Friday this year, our festive Purim seudah will begin in the late afternoon and extend into Shabbat. We will rejoice in the joy of Purim and then transition into the sanctity of Shabbat as the sun sets. For more information, see the BT Purim Laws and Customs Guide.
Our Purim seudah in the Hurwitz Hall will begin with sushi platters, hors d'oeuvres and drinks, plus fun children's activities and entertainment geared for kids aged 2-12. A live band will lead us into Kabbalat Shabbat with Chazzan Rose and Brian Singer, followed by Shabbat candle lighting and maariv in the Epstein Chapel. Finally, join us in the Hurwitz Hall as we bring in Shabbat with a festive fleishig dinner.
