Welcome to the New Beth Tfiloh Website!

We are pleased to offer a new, expanded and information-rich website for the Beth Tfiloh family and community.

The website includes four main public sections: "About Beth Tfiloh", "Our School Community", "Our Synagogue Community" and "News & Calendar". In addition, "MyBT", a secure, private section of the website with a series of portals, is available exclusively to members of our school and synagogue community via a password protected login, to make relevant information easily available to our parents, faculty, alumni, students and other community members.

WEB SITE HELP DESK 

Login - Each user has a log in name and a password. The login name for teachers, parents and synagogue members is your first name and last name with no spaces (e.g. "ZiporaSchorr"). For students and alumni, your login is your first name, last name and graduation year (e.g. "SusanKatz07"). The password for most users (except staff) will be their 10-digit home phone number with no spaces or punctuation. The password for alumni/ae will be their date of birth or "BTWarriors".

Outlook Web Access - BT faculty and students can access their BT e-mail by going to btemail.btfiloh.org/exchange/.

OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY provides a wealth of information of our schools and divisions, spanning Pre-School through High School and including our Hebrew School. Highlights include a searchable course curriculum for Lower School, Middle School and High School, athletics schedules and team pages, and a collection of Admissions resources, including a series of Frequently Asked Questions, on-line inquiry form and downloadable applications. Separate pages are also maintained by our Youth Center and Parent Association as well as various student organizations.

OUR SYNAGOGUE COMMUNITY describes Beth Tfiloh's vibrant religious life, including a rich variety of adults and youth programming for Shabbat and Yom Tov, and extensive adult education offerings through the Mercaz Dahan Center. Here you will find our rabbis' recent sermons as well as information for prospective members and those preparing for Bar/Bat Mitzvah and other life cycle events, including facility rentals. Our Brotherhood, Sisterhood and Israel Advocacy Committee also maintain a page of their events and news.

NEW & EVENTS includes news and press releases, a public calendar which can be filtered by categories, and a schedule of weekday, Shabbat and Yom Tov services.

MyBT is a private, secure portal for members of the Beth Tfiloh community, including parents, students, faculty, alumni and synagogue members. A choice of portals provides news, events and other resources specific to members of our community, including homework assignments, alumni updates. interscholastic sports information and good and welfare updates. Additional resources available through the private portal include searchable directories of students, parents, alumni and staff, and private calendars. A separate alumni community enables Beth Tfiloh alumni to maintain contact with classmates. Class pages for each Lower School grade and each Middle and High School class, help foster communications between teachers and their students and parents and provide assignments and other class resources for easy access at home.

MyBT PORTAL - the content on the main screen you see once you log in is the MyBT Portal page. This page provides personalized news, announcements, events and other information which is customized based on the user who has logged in. It includes a “My Groups” sections (on the right hand column) with a direct link to all of a teacher’s or student’s course pages, teams and other private groups. A parent will automatically see all of his/her child’s classes and homework assignments on this page. While the “MyBT” portal includes news and events for our entire community, there are also separate portals set up for the School, the Synagogue and each school division which are available via links at the top of the page. Users can also create their own customized portal if they wish.

MyBT also provides access to the following private menu options:

  • A CALENDAR of school and synagogue events. This can be filtered and customized by the user.
  • Searchable DIRECTORIES of teachers, students, parents, alumni, synagogue members, School Board of Trustees and Synagogue Board of Directors.
  • Links to private pages for various GROUPS based on your specific role (teacher/staff, course pages, team pages, alumni pages, etc.). All course pages will be accessible to faculty members via the ACADEMICS link. Students and their parents will only see links to those courses for which the student appears on the class roster. Secure private pages for various members of our community, including faculty, parents and students, are available by clicking on the link(s) appearing under ROLES.
  • Your personal PROFILE, including your e-mail address, phone numbers, and educational background. (Please note that we are able to restrict the viewing of specific items of information to only those groups within our community that we desire. As an example, teacher/staff home phone numbers will not be viewable by students and parents but may be viewed by other teachers and staff.). You are given the ability to edit certain fields of your profile. If there is information that needs to be revised in fields which you cannot edit, please contact Joan Feldman (jfeldman@btfiloh.org).
